Service Description: Dense Image Matching (DIM) processing attempts to match pixels from stereo image pairs. This process is also known as Photogrammetric Detection and Ranging (PhoDAR), Structure from Motion (SfM), Semi-Global Matching (SGM). Matching can occur to the extent that the same pixel is visible in one or more Aerial Photographs. Therefore, poorly defined or otherwise obscured features that are not visible in multiple Aerial Photographs cannot be described in the resulting Point Cloud. Point Cloud density will vary due to changes in terrain, vegetation and other geographic and photogrammetric factors. Source data was processed by Quantum Spatial Inc. and is a raw, unclassified Point Cloud with no additional filtering or manual editing to repair any dropouts, spikes or noise. This data may not have been checked for parallax, therefore resulting Point Cloud data may not align from strip to strip. Source AGPGS/IMU and aerotriangulation processes were designed to produce orthophotography with a horizontal accuracy of 4.82feet at 95% confidence. Vertical accuracy of the Digital Terrain Model (DTM) used in the orthorectification process is not part of the source specification. There is no published accuracy specification for this type of dataset. Horizontal accuracy testing appears to meet the orthophotography specification and vertical accuracy testing shows agreement with lidar DSM at +/- 3ft. Additional vertical accuracy testing and results are forthcoming. Raw point cloud data was processed to produce a Digital Surface Model (DSM) using ESRI ArcGIS Pro 2.7.1 by the Oregon Parks and Recreation Department.
